for sure not a general problem

running here on 2 physical machines and 3 VMware guests
as also the Fedora 17 3.8.11-100.fc17.x86_64 works
perfectly on 2 physical and 20 VMware production guests

[root@localhost:~]$ uname -r
3.8.11-200.fc18.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed May 1 19:44:27 UTC 2013

[root@localhost:~]$ df -hT
