Allegedly, on or about 08 April 2013, Doug sent: > I wonder if anybody makes a "slot extender?" The crosstalk between wires, the changes in inductance and capacitance, would probably make a right mess out of the whole bus, never mind the card on a cable extender. Back in the ISA days, it wasn't unusual to see a daughterboard that plugged a series of ISA cards into one socket. I've got an old low-profile 486 PC that did that to place the cards parallel to the motherboard. But that's a straight card, with simple track design, inside the box, on a lower speed bus. -- [tim@localhost ~]$ uname -rsvp Linux 3.8.4-102.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Mar 24 13:09:09 UTC 2013 x86_64 All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point trying to privately email me, I will only read messages posted to the public lists. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
