So, the printer is defined.  Earlier you noted....

$: lpr March*
lpr: Error - no default destination available.

Since you don't have a default set, you should be able to print with....

lpr -P HP_LaserJet_P1005 file_to_print

That is very odd.  All of my systems have...

I suppose it's that I use hplip rather than cups? 

/var/lib/hp(/.*)?       system_u:object_r:cupsd_var_lib_t:s0

Does this match?

selinux-policy-targeted-3.11.1-86.fc18.noarch

I get the following:

rpm -q selinux-policy-targeted

selinux-policy-targeted-3.11.1-71.fc18.noarch
