HEllo,
When I try to run a nx session locally (on the same machine as that I
am in front of). I get:
NX> 203 NXSSH running with pid: 14784

NX> 285 Enabling skip of SSH config files

nxserver seems to be running.
I add the user as a member of the group nx
firewall let go the ssh services.
What else do I need to do?
what did you do is the much better question
PLEASE learn to tell us what you have done instead hope
someone is guessing or give you a 1-2-3 howto
"nxsetup --install" done?
I installed freenx-server
then run
nxsetup --install
Seems OK.
run nxclient (nxclient-3.5.0-7.x86_64)
start to be OK but then fails:
Qt: Locales not supported on X server
Then I removed nxserver
Then run again nxclient, but NX> 204 Authentication failed.
Try to run
nxsetup --install
but
Setting up /var/lib/nxserver/db ...done
Setting up /var/log/nx/nxserver.log ...done
Setting up special user "nx" ...useradd: cannot create directory
/var/lib/nxserver/home
Note that:
nxssh (and nxagent)
gives
nxssh: error while loading shared libraries: libXcomp.so.3: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
What Did I do wrong?
Thank
