Hi all, Recently I'm stucked with multiboot. I have a disk with following partition: sd1. 157GB NTFS of Win8 sd2. 55GB including: sd5. 500M /boot sd6. 4GB /swap sd7. 50GB BTRFS Fedora 18 sd3. 55GB not parted sd4. 32GB not parted Now I want to install Fedora 17 on sd3 or sd4, but I don't know howto. From Anaconda I failed evrrytime for not enough space or some other reasons. So any hints availabe? I think two lvm is the way of installing dual Fedora, isn't it?
Boot off fc17 install, and put fc17 on sd3. Ignore all the rest completely. When you have your fc17 installed and booted, only then you make the rest bootable by asking grub2 to find it:
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg That should find lots of stuff for you. -- Bill Davidsen <davidsen@xxxxxxx> "We have more to fear from the bungling of the incompetent than from the machinations of the wicked." - from Slashdot -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
