Hi all, I need to be able to identify which networks are on which NICs on a multi-homed box. There is a program that, when given an IP, will cause the associated NIC's leds to blink, whether or not it has a physical connection to an ethernet cable. Used for debugging. Thought it was ping but I can't find any options for that. Anybody else remember what it is?
"ethtool --identify <NICname>" or "ethtool -p <NICname>", example: ethtool -p eth0 ethtool --identify eth0 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Systems Engineer, AllDigital ricks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - AIM/Skype: therps2 ICQ: 22643734 Yahoo: origrps2 - - - - Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
