My fedup from F17->18 was a disaster, and then my fresh install from
the DVD iso on top of the failed upgrade was a disaster, but that's
another story.

Since installing from scratch (only keeping /home) I've had two quirks
that have been rather agravating.

When I ssh into my machine from PuTTY I no longer get syntax
highlighting in vi, nor is the position in the file remembered which
was quite useful when going through build logs and spec files.

Also, bash auto-completion is "quirky". Sometimes it takes much longer
than usual (several seconds) to complete and sometimes it refuses to
complete.

Anyone know what's going on?
