I'm not so internet savvy AFAIK. Chrome tends to play most stuff out of the box (it has some built-in video decoders), so the problem may be elsewhere. Does no kind of video work, or only some? What sites don't work: Youtube? Apple? Vimeo? Some random page with embedded Flash?
