Turbo Boost on Core i

With the latest 3.7.5-201 kernel, I see this in dmesg:

p4-clockmod: Warning: EST-capable CPU detected. The acpi-cpufreq module offers voltage scaling in addition to frequency scaling. You should use that instead of p4-clockmod, if possible.

It looks like p4-clockmod is built into the kernel, and there is no acpi-cpufreq module in /lib/modules/.

I'm guessing this may be related to TurboBoost apparently not working.

Has anybody got any ideas on how to:
1) Disable p4-clockmod
2) Force-enable acpi-cpufreq if it is built into the kernel as well
3) Disable power management and get it to work at nominal speed with TB enabled

Many thanks.
