F17->F18: Where'd my audio input go?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Well, it looks like the pulseaudio GUI changed again. I no longer have
a tab where I can select the particular audio device and configure it.

I have two sound cards, one built-in which had sound quality issues
with 5.1 playback so I bought a Asus Xonar which is quite nice.

Under F17 I configured the Xonar for playback only since the inputs
were not supported by Alsa at the time, they may or may not be now.
Then I configured my built-in device for input only for ham radio
digital mode decoding.

Now under the F18 gui it looks like it tries to enumerate all the
inputs but the *only* input listed for the built in audio is the
iec958.
