I think what that particular patch does is to enable minidebuginfo in an example macro file. So I was thinking you could put a line like the following in your ~/.rpmmacros file. %_include_minidebuginfo 0 Of course this is assuming using 0 instead of 1 disables a particular option in RPM macros.
