ffmpeg -i MyHomeMovie.m4v -target ntsc-dvd MyHomeMovie.mpg

the ntsc-dvd would not work I had to change it to ntsc-dv.

Works for me, and I distribute DVD info for taped meetings, taken from cell phones, good cameras, uploaded to youtube and then downloaded again, etc.

   ffmpeg -i {your_file} -target ntsc-dvd [options] {destination_file}
then
    dvdstyler

I usually have multiple 20-40 minute clips, styler allows me to make menus and submenus, add a little artwork, etc.

The programmers are changing their programmes so much that you can't get on to
web searching and get the correct info on running a command.

So much of the web content is old and not done that way in latest change of a
program.  it's very frustrating .

What works better and faster is devede in fedora repo.

i can download a xxx.webm video and convert it and burn it to dvd real fast and play on a standalone dvd drive. in just a few clicks.

It would be nice if someone would make a GUI for ffmpeg
