I honestly do NOT know what I did to fix the UEFI "thing":: unless I followed somebody's hand-waving: "you can fix this in the BIOS." I spent several hours mucking around in the bios until I could boot =without= seeing the bloody message: "Can't Find the Boot Track" followed by the idiot sentence: "hit any key to reboot."
