I don't have a Galaxy SIII, but I do have a couple of android devices
-- typically they have a setting that lets you change the "USB Mode"
from "None" to "USB Mass Storage" mode.  If you change that and then
plug in a USB cable, it'll appear as a giant USB key.

I found the USB teather option. It was greyed out until I connected to my notebook. Then Fedora recognized the device. Got my mp4s into the movie directory and were able to view them with the player. All right, this phone might actually be useful!
