GTK is written in C, so you should have no problem with bindings. If your build system complains about dependencies, just pull the relevant developer package (they almost always end with "-devel", for example mypackage-devel).

        :-)  yeah, dumb question!  Looks like the "spin" did not pick up
        all of what I needed in KDE, so I'm doing the "yum groupinstall"
        that Christopher mentioned.

        I'm working on a program for gnome-accessibility that requires
        gtk and C; that should give me more clues... .
