I have a Toshiba Z-830 (the Portege i7 version) which works fabulously under F17: 15 second boot, <2 second resume from RAM, all features working (except the fingerprint reader, for which I wait hopefully for a future driver). I recently configured hybrid suspend - suspend-to-RAM for 15 minutes followed by suspend-to-disk. Oddly, when resuming from suspend-to-disk, the brightness controls do not work, and the screen is at WHERE ARE MY SUNGLASSES brightness. Everything else seems to work fine after the resume. Any thoughts/suggestions on possible causes or (better yet) possible fixes?
