I phoned Newegg customer service and they mentioned recent problems that
had been solved and asked that I try the following in Firefox and give
them the resulting number.
It too was blocked as I suspected it would be, wget is the same:

I haven't found a phone number for opendns but filed a second inquiry
on-line. They claim to respond within 72 hours!
I guess I can live without Newegg ad's for a while but it will bug me
until it's fixed!
