try the shotwell cmd from the cmdline to see the error better?
Sorry, but there is not error message in the shell where I load
shotwell,
It only appears as a new window in shotwell.

Hello,
I have a Canon camera:
Bus 006 Device 004: ID 04a9:3055 Canon, Inc. PowerShot G2
When I try to import the picture by using shotwell I get an error
message:
Unable to fetch previews from the camera:
I/O problem (-7)
But When I do the same from root, this glitch disappears.
How can I fix it?
Thank.
