One point/question I overlooked at making: sometime ago I installed an rpm of a note-taking app called Tuxnotes procured from some 3rd-party repo (apologies I don't recall the repo). My notes are still buried in xml in a hidden directory called ".tuxnotes." For the sake of continuity, I'd like to recover these notes. If someone knows of this app, that would be great (advice welcomed here, but not urgently needed).
