I'm using the texlive-release repo under Fedora-17 in order to get a recent version of TeXLive. (I want to run luatex, and this seems the easiest way.) I've been getting the following dependency error for the last few days: ----------------------------------- Error: Package: R-core-2.15.0-1.fc17.i686 (@fedora) Requires: texlive-latex Removing: 1:texlive-latex-svn23639-1.noarch (@texlive) texlive-latex = 1:svn23639-1 Obsoleted By: 1:tex-latex-svn23639-1.noarch (texlive) Not found Available: texlive-latex-2007-70.fc17.i686 (fedora) texlive-latex = 2007-70.fc17 Error: Package: R-core-2.15.0-1.fc17.i686 (@fedora) Requires: texlive-dvips Removing: 1:texlive-dvips-svn26765-1.noarch (@texlive) texlive-dvips = 1:svn26765-1 Obsoleted By: 1:tex-dvips-svn26765-1.noarch (texlive) Not found Available: texlive-dvips-2007-70.fc17.i686 (fedora) texlive-dvips = 2007-70.fc17 Error: Package: 1:texlive-preview-11.86.svn17118-1.noarch (@texlive) Requires: texlive-kpathsea Removing: 1:texlive-kpathsea-svn26691-1.noarch (@texlive) texlive-kpathsea = 1:svn26691-1 Obsoleted By: 1:tex-kpathsea-svn26691-1.noarch (texlive) Not found ----------------------------------- I wonder if anyone else has been getting this, and if so whether there is any way round? I must admit I can't make much sense of this yum error message. -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College Dublin -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
