Recently I updated F16 on my laptop. Since then I have encountered the
following issues:
1) I see the following error message being repeated constantly in
/var/log/messages

This message occurs in bunches every 30 seconds to 1 minute.
2) I started noticing the display flickering. What's interesting is
that the display flickers when I boot the laptop up on Windows 7 as
well. So it could be that it's a hardware problem, but I just replaced
the motherboard due to other video issues.
3) The battery monitor applet keeps disappearing/re-appearing on the
bottom panel.
Has anyone else seen similar issues?
