Hi, I want build a kernel without initrd support but on ubuntu forum I have read it's not possible because upstart don't support it. I would like to have some confirmation if it is the same on fedora. bye lewis
You can boot without initrd if you have standard hardware, but there are some outstanding issues which never seem to get solved - the biggest one for me is inability to automatically regenerate grub.cfg when new kernel is installed.
But other than that, it works just fine -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
