Actually moral of the story is: in order to receive help a clear
description of your problem is required and upgrading to a supported
release of the distro is encouraged (but the OP doesn't have to).
I was going according to the "Fedora EOL support" site that
"Assisting end users with questions on the fedora mailing list." is
not provided anymore for EOL releases. :-)
