I would think dry-cleaning would be the proper way to do it, no?
Nup!, according to Tony Robinson's "Worlds Dirtiest Jobs" the way to
cleanliness is to wash clothing in stale urine. It worked a treat in the
15-1600's and people got paid a farthing a day to stamp around in the
tub up to their knees.
