moving /tmp to RAM on f17

A common tweak recommended to SSD users on various distros has been to move /tmp to RAM to avoid writing to the SSD. Adding this line to /etc/fstab has worked fine for me on f16:

none    /tmp    tmpfs   defaults        0 0

However on f17 adding this line prevents the machine from booting.

Can anyone enlighten me if it's possible to do something similar on f17 to save wear on my SSD?
