I have attached a patch to the bug that adds a module parameter to disable all of the new functionality, reverting to the 3.2 behavior and making my display work. This is my main work display, so I need this to work, and I'm obviously not eager to have to rebuild the kernel every time an update comes out (let alone forward-porting the patch). Could someone please look at this bug?
