Is it possible to switch back to grub1 even when the system is a fresh installation? Will grub1 continue be packaged for new fedora releases?
You can use grub to boot systems using F16+. grubby will still update the kernel entries in grub.conf. However, grub2 obsoletes grub in at least F17+ which makes it hard to install grub. There were also problems with some of the later versions of grub to get packaged, and you may need to try some older versions to do grub-install and have it work. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
