I would like to change some menu names such as "Scanner tool" to

One tool I use is alacarte. Unfortunately it is not available in F16
(but still exists for F15). It can be made to work in F16 with a few
tricks:

When I ran: yum install alacarte
an F16 version of alacarte was installed.
I installed "alacarte" via yum in Fedora -16/64[installed from the
XFCE Live
spin]. It produces the error message:
[bobg@box7 ~]$ alacarte
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/alacarte", line 22, in <module>
from Alacarte.MainWindow import MainWindow
File
"/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/Alacarte/MainWindow.py", line

import gtk, gmenu, gobject, gio
ImportError: No module named gmenu
