mysql is standard for nearly all downstream software with mysql-support

for compatibility it is a VERY BAD idea

who is moving to where?

if you are replacing mysqld with any forks you may convert
your existing data, but migrate back would be difficult

please do not consider destroy mysqld in fedora because
some people are liking forks - i do not love orcale
but until know they are really doing a good job with
MySQL 5.5/5.6-devel and 5.5 was one of the best releases
ever while most forks are based on older versions
