Weird. Not happening for anyone else (but happens to me on
at least three different systems :-).

I just booted my fedora 17 alpha partition and tried it there,
and it works fine on that system where I haven't yet
pointed to my old /home directory.

Now I gotta figure out what weird interaction is going on that
made it start failing just recently.

I guess the first step is to create a brand new user and
try it out as that user.
