Revisiting this thread because I just managed to connect my new Galaxy
Nexus. I plugged it in and ran Rhythmbox and there it was. I transferred
files via drag-and-drop. Amarok also sees it but I haven't done
extensive testing. This is with libmtp 1.1.2.
