Agreed, but if I remember correctly each "official RHEL" is based, at least
indirectly, on some prior Fedora release?
RHEL5 was largely based on FC6 and RHEL6 on F12 and significant pieces
of F13 iirc.

Out of curiosity, do you (or anyone) know what RHEL7 is basing itself on? I don't use RHEL, but am wondering if the next RHEL major will have Gnome 3? (full disclosure: I switched to Xfce after F14)
