Maybe I should have said that copying (using cp) works quite well though
really slow. And this would not explain the similar problems when using
sshfs.
I'm just saying that dafvs2 does chunk the authentication and some
webdav stuff doesn't like it. I can use OwnCloud so long as I get it
set up via the web browser. A mount using davfs2 simply won't work and
you can see OwnCloud rejecting the chunked authentication pieces via a
tcpdump or wireshark snoop session.
I don't know if this would affect scp or sshfs. If they temporarily
mount the filesystem via davfs2 to do the move, this might affect it as
well. Just sharing what I've seen.
