How do I generate a /ect/X11/xorg.conf?
There should not be one. That's ancient history. Everything
should be autodetected. The interesting question in your case
is why the monitor isn't being autodetected. Is it some ancient
monitor with no EDID? Or a faulty cable?
My problem now is to make it starts with the right resolution.
I tried to edit /etc/gdm/Init/Default
and to create a /etc/X11/xorg.conf
but it does not help.
Andrew.
