It might help if you followed the steps in the Fedora pulseaudio problem reporting guide: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_PulseAudio_problems So far I don't think there's even enough information to suggest that this is a pulseaudio problem. If the devices have vanished it sounds more like a problem with the alsa drivers. There are also plenty of resources for investigating alsa problems if you search google.
