I have a cheesy yum plugin I hacked up that allows me to run a script right after yum finishes. I find this very useful to restore hacks I may have made to my system which updates may reverse. This seems like such a useful concept, I figured there would be an official plugin of some kind to do this, but I haven't found one in my searches. Does anyone know of an "official" plugin to do this same trick? (Maybe I'm just not searching for the right jargon?)
Sounds like 'yum-plugin-post-transaction-actions' package is what you're looking for.
