i think he was looking for reassurance (not condescension) as to the actions he has to take, or exactly what he has to type to resolve the issue. he simply doesn't want to f up his box...
And why, pray tell, would he have thought that following the instructions SELinux gave him would be more likely to fsck his box up than a suggestion from J. Random User from some mailing list?
