You can run it as different users. That is useful if you are doing updates
as root and you want to do queries at the same time (as a normal user).

Be aware that they will step on eachother's toes because one will have a lock on the RPM database and the other will want it.

Same thing happens if you try to run two in a row too close together. The second will hang while it waits for the lock from the first to clear.
