Thank you for telling me why I don't want to get an Android. The only way I can get WiFi at home is by connecting to some neighbor's unsecured hotspot, which I don't like doing, and without WiFi this trick doesn't work. Of course, if I did have proper WiFi access, I'd feel differently. It's good to know that there's a way to swap files with an Android under Linux, even if it's not practical for me.
