I have two monitors, plan on going to three soon.

In GNOME2, I often have an app spanning both monitors. With multiple
desktops, that app would stay on one desktop and if I needed a second
desktop it was a piece of cake, just ctrl+alt+arrow to go to a new
desktop.

With GNOME3, if I go to a new desktop, only the left one moves. My
multi-screen app stays on the right pane. It's very frustrating.

How do I do multi-desktop on both the left and right screens??? I need
to be able to run an app that spans desktops but I want to do it on
multiple desktops!

Thanks!
Thomas
