I may be obsessing a bit but this IRQ rerouting is very interesting to me. In the f15 dracut shell I took a look at /proc/interrupts. Rerouting IRQ 35 to 19 put the 3ware card on an interrupt with a bunch of other things. In the f14 kernel IRQ 35 is not rerouted to IRQ 19 and the card works fine.
