Since upgrade from 14 to 16 (using DVD) I can hear the logon sound
and system events but nothing else with a HDA NVidia ALC662 rev1
card (MB - ASRock K10N78M-PRO) thru the analog output. And when I
try to play anything that accesses the default sound card I get the
message "The audio playback device HDA NVidia (ALC662 rev1 analog)
does not work falling back to..". I have tried a Knoppix live CD and
everything works fine (getting ready to try a Fedora live disc). Tried some suggestions noted on the fedoraforum but none of them work. Searched the list and didn't see any info on this. Any help would be appreciated.
