Running "mandb -t" on Fedora 16 development fills a few screens with errors, such as: mandb: can't open /usr/share/man/ne_set_session_flag.3: No such file or directory mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man3/ne_get_session_flag.3.gz: bad symlink or ROFF `.so' request mandb: can't open /usr/share/man/ne_buffer_append.3: No such file or directory mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man3/ne_buffer_zappend.3.gz: bad symlink or ROFF `.so' request mandb: can't open /usr/share/man/ne_malloc.3: No such file or directory mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man3/ne_strndup.3.gz: bad symlink or ROFF `.so' request mandb: can't open /usr/share/man/ne_set_useragent.3: No such file or directory mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man3/ne_set_read_timeout.3.gz: bad symlink or ROFF `.so' request [...] Examining the first two lines: $ zcat /usr/share/man/man3/ne_get_session_flag.3.gz .so ne_set_session_flag.3 And "man ne_set_session_flag" works.
