I have an ancient box still running Fedora 10. I just downloaded
Firefox 6.0.2 (the .tar.bz2) from the Firefox page and unpacked it
over whatever was the version I had.

Works flawlessly, fwiw.

But I do get your point, as F14 is still a supported release.
