Neither really. A meritocracy is based upon merit. Fedora is not based
upon merit for the most part, it is based upon people giving their time
to do things. They don't have to be the best, they don't have to be the
grand master of all code they survey, they just have to care enough to
put the time in.

If you want it - do it. If you are going to maintain E for yourself for
the next Fedora then why not maintain it within Fedora for example.
