Run your machine with the rescue mode. And check the contents of /boot/grub/grub.conf which is mounted under /mnt/sysimage/boot/grub/grub.conf In my case, when F15 upgrade was done, F15 didn't startup and I found that the contents of grub.conf was broken. So I commented out the lines of upgraded kernel part in the grub.conf with '#'. Finally I can successfully start F15 with previous kernel. Anyway. let me know the contents of your grub.conf.
