I now want things to just work Well, I ran GNOME 3 just fine with my GT 230 and nouveau. So, I don't know what to make of your earlier post that said Gnome 3 requires HW acceleration or that it wasn't up to the task of running GNOME 3. I only switched to the nVidia drivers because my primary/preferred desktop is KDE but I'd like to experiment with GNOME 3 and that is only possible with nVidia drivers at the moment. I don't think the philosophy of Fedora ever was to test with proprietary drivers...or to consider failures with them as blockers. If you have problems with the drivers supplied by Fedora then of course they would appreciate your filing a bugzilla if one isn't already open. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
