If I correctly read a response by Rahul in another thread he plans to
update the Fedora documentation, as time permits, to answer the
questions I raised.

In the meantime, I plan to do a bit of reading of the documents found
here: http://0pointer.de/blog/projects/systemd-docs.html 

However, I am not holding my breath that they will reveal the meaning of
those 15 odd status.
