I've installed a HP Pavilion dv6500 with F14 x86_64 and, for flash, am using the suggested 32bit version with wrapper (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Flash). Everything seems to be working and I am getting audio in all my tests (mp3, mp4, qt, flash, audio CD, etc.). The one failure is with speaker-test which gives me: [paul@yoyo ~]$ speaker-test speaker-test 1.0.23 Playback device is default Stream parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 1 channels Using 16 octaves of pink noise ALSA lib dlmisc.c:236:(snd1_dlobj_cache_get) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib64/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so Playback open error: -6,No such device or address ALSA lib dlmisc.c:236:(snd1_dlobj_cache_get) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib64/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so Playback open error: -6,No such device or address [... and so on ...] ^C [paul@yoyo ~]$ Its working on all my f14 32bit systems. I tried running alsa-info and didn't see any "error" or "warning" messages (I can add as attachment if someone wants to look at it) This is not a show-stopper for me in any way, shape, or form ... but I did want to query to see if it is a known issue (I googled and didn't find anything that had "SimilarError/x64/SoundWorkingOtherwise"). Should I submit it as Fedora bug or is this something that has to go to Alsa?
