I usually upgrade my copying the files from images/pxeboot on the DVD image onto an existing system, rebooting, and loading pxeboot/vmlinuz and pxeboot/initrd.img from grub.

This is not working for some reason with F15. After selecting the image from the grub menu, literally nothing happens, a blank screen. No errors of any kind. The only way to proceed is the three-fingered salute.

Anyone has any idea why?

I'd still like to know why this doesn't work, even though I managed to start Anaconda using a real pxe boot.

But after I told Anaconda I want to upgrade, and told it which network interface to activate, it apparently proceeding and doing an upgrade by pulling the install images off the Internet, even though I have an installation image prepared locally. I did not get the prompt letting me point Anaconda to an install image locally via http. WTF???
